I did some research and found out that originally 3-spoke steering wheel wasn't available if car had indication on mirrors when you cross the line and vibration on steering wheel (line assistant >??? ).
Now just wondering - this was just a marketing or it has to do something with technical side ? Hard to believe because line assistant is controlled from the lever...

No idea, as far as I've seen it has been pretty much 50/50 from 03 D3, 06 face lift, through to the D4 model. Some come with 3 some with 4. Don't know the reason other than possible trim preferences as option package at time of order???
