The car was dropped off at the shop Monday to handle the damage from a garbage bin that was washed into the car from the heavy rains a couple months ago, and when I checked in on the car on Wednesday, all the systems appeared to still be working, so I think I might be a very, very lucky guy for once! The desiccant pulled up a lot of moisture, it looks like the small damp spot on the carpet was not representative of how much had actually gotten in the car. I had already made an insurance claim, so after I get the car back from the shop, I'll have to confirm everything is working as normal and cancel the claim.
