2013 A8 4.0T and my Bluetooth has started the annoying trend of disconnecting while on calls. It seems to be fine when playing music but disconnects and reconnects whIle on calls. Any ideas before bringing it to the dealer and have them tell me I am imagining it. I have a Samsung S7 which is a fairly new model phone. I was definitely having issues with my Samsung Note 4, but once I upgraded it worked great until now.

Always try known good phone--that connects consistently to some other separate vehicle--before concluding anything about vehicle in question. Or, test your phone in some other known good vehicle the same way. 95% of the time, phone posts seem to end up w/ the issue on the phone side. All it takes is one of the 100+ drops over time to take out something in the phone.

For vehicle, first thing to try would be the three button MMI reset. See manual if not familiar w/ it.

I had the same issue. Discovered it was the Fitbit "Always Connected" setting that was causing the issue. When I turned that off, the BT drops stopped.
