Is something wrong with my Bluetooth?

Is something wrong with my Bluetooth?
I never ever have an issue with it working for talking on the phone. But I play music from my iPhone using it as the source. Frequently, upon starting the car, it might take 45 seconds to 1.5 minutes for it to finally link up. It will stick on the “find new Bluetooth device” screen. It does this with other devices, not just my phone.

Exact same scenario in my 2012.
I assumed it was simply that in the cars boot sequence, bluetooth wasn't prioritized near the start, as it's a non / less essential service.

Same on my 2013.
Also, every other car I've owned has always showed me the name of the song playing on the screens in the car when playing music from my phone. This car just shows the bluetooth icon which is a bit of a bummer.

I get full track info when streaming from my phone (pixel 2xl) and in the media section of the mmi. 2013 A8L 4.0T. The screen with the speedo only shows the Bluetooth symbol
