best source for lower control arms?

ball joints not in arms???????????
Wait a minute. are you saying i can replace the ball joints separately? Doesn't sound right to me. I thought the lower arms had the ball joints built in.
Mine are clunking and I'm pretty sure it's the ball joints.

I was told by the dealer that the whole thing needs to be replaced -- picked up a used one for $35..
I picked up mine from car-parts.com (salvage yard search).
My control arm's rubber boot was nicked during replacement of axle.
