Default Drive System Malfunction

Made it to a whole 600 miles before this happened

Funny part is when i start driving it goes away, but every time i turn the car on the sign comes up. Not fun on a 2 week old car. Don't understand what it could be exactly?

Anybody recommend any SoCal Audi dealers? Audi Valencia is the nearest to me but not too sure about them

Are you perhaps shutting off the car while in gear? I wonder if you are pulling in to stop/exit the car, and the stop/start function is killing the engine.....and then press the ignition button and leave the car.....but the car never made it into Park?

Process is always the same.
i kill the auto start/stop right when i jump into the car (hate this feature).
than press park, turn off the car and jump out.
Once i get back in and turn it on that comes up

Not a permanent solution, but if you drive in "S" the stop/start is automatically disabled.

Your pic doesn’t show a system malfunction error.
It’s the warning if you started the car with your door open. Close the door and that will go away.

this thread gave me a good laugh, I thought OP was trolling, but then I looked at the date. hopefully OP has since closed his drivers side door and remedied the problem
