Technically, I think you paid over 60k for it (just kidding!).

Thanks for that, I'll be checking that mod out next time I plug in the OBD11.

Thank you for that info. It's the only option I didn't get. Our Q7 has lane assist. I'm up in the air about it, as I'm always fighting the damn thing.

I set it to early intervention and strong hold, and I just dont fight it at all. Makes my long highway drives (400 miles in the q5 this weekend) much much nicer.

The ALA can have some problems on the tightest highway bends and weird pitch/banking of some roads, but that makes up probably 1% of the time I'm using it. I like how I can pay much closer attention to my surroundings when not spending any thought/energy on following the road.

Is there any OBDEleven Vendor that's better than the rest? I'm NOT a big eBay buyer so I would prefer to stick with a reputable vendor.

I bought directly from the vendor in europe. Didnt take long for it to arrive, but it was the only option when i got it like 2 ish years ago.

For the price of the unit, it's certainly worth to purchase. I think the only thing I would look to do, is enable the lane assist and enable the windows to go down from the fob. Thanks ARVx147

Well, stock the windows go up and down from the key fob. The OBD Eleven mod just increases the distance between car and fob.

Let me get this straight. There are features that are available to me via obdII that Audi would normally require me to pay an additional 5K or so for the premium trim to enable?
These features are available through a software configuration tweak?
That seems pretty sh!tty on Audi's part.

That's exactly what I said! In the S5 you have to buy prestige and then another package for total of $6200 - But all the cars can do it with just the camera in the rear view mirror housing!!! (and the mechanisms to automatically turn the steering wheel, which all of the cars have too)

They must have thought people would never buy the drivers assistance package without the lane holding assist bundled with ACC
