That's what it is. They'll replace it Monday. Got the airbag recall done today though.

That’s good. My dealership is stating that the sensor is fine. I’ll have to argue that if the warning comes back. I am still waiting on my notice for the airbag recall. I had no idea about it until I found a mention on one of these boards.

I made an appointment to look at some of my rattles and to get an MMI upgrade due to some media playback/carplay issues.

The airbag TSB showed up in the available services in my dealer's online service appointment scheduler so I scheduled that as well.

Audi plans on sending the first round of mailers out February 1, 2018, so you should see it sometime in February.

It happened to my S5 yesterday. In cold wheater too(-10C°). I started my car and it immediatly popped up. I opened the hood and took the oil lid and cleaned it up. It was dirty with some slushy oil and there also was a gasoline smell to it. Once cleaned, it took a couple of minutes and the warning message went away. l'd like to specify that the day before I parked my car home, I drove my car hard in the snow and my guess is that some oil went in contact with the seal and froze there. I am assuming the oil level is correct. Well, maybe not since the oil smelled of gazoline? Anyway, I'll contact my dealer later today to ask a couple of questions.

Sorry for my bad english*

Just happened to me. It was also cold. It was also being driven relatively hard.

And it's back on again. I guess it's possible that the replacement sensor is also bad.

SYMAWD, are you still having issues with your oil sensor? Mine wigged out 3 hours into a 6 hour drive last week. I reset it when I got it home and it has been fine since. I'm wondering if its worth bothering to follow up with a dealer on.

It never came back on again. I traded the car in though a couple months ago so can't say if the issue would have come back again this winter.

It’s back on in my car. Very annoying and I hate driving with the warning on all the time. Definitely linked to the temperature. It’s colder now in Canada and the error pops up after I drive for 5 minutes.
