Are we sure this is for ALL Etrons, regardless of VIN? My dealer says it does not apply to my car...it's there for a tire repair, and will be there for a few days!!!

I am not sure, I saw on German forum MY19, 20 and 21 cars with this update (93N6), thus it looked to me that all cars until MY21 involved. My early MY19 car (manufactured in April 19) is due for this update. I doubt that there are one software version in some MY19,20, and 21 cars which has to be updated, but there is another one which should not. But Audi should know better what they are doing (hopefully). Also I am not sure this is rolled out in the States yet, usualy worldwide service action rolled out in Europe first and little bit later in the States.

The way some past updates have been distributed, generally they are released in EU first and then come to NA a couple of weeks later. As to whether some models might need it and some might not, it is a little trickier in the US. Due to COVID Audi did not offer a 2020MY, but rather stuck throughout 2020 with the 2019 SUV and introducing a Sportback version. However, towards the end of the 2019 lifecycle, some of the SUV's shipped to the US were actually 2020 models rebranded as 2019MY. The dealers can tell by a VIN check. Early and Late 2019MY SUVs do differ in some software and hardware.

Indeed. The only US spec 2020 models are actually the Sportbacks version that came over the late 2nd and 3rd quarter of 2020. Only a few hundred made it over here. I got a steal on my 2020 version compared to an equivalent 2021 model year(only missing the dual charging ports) when I got mine in November 2020..
I also understand a few rare SUV e-trons did come over in 2020 as 2019 models or Audi just delayed them to 2021 model years.

My 2020 Sportback does not have this service campaign listed on the Audi website when I input my VIN.

Mine is a very early 2019 and one of the first demo cars I believe with air cooled seats etc which I don't think you can even build into the spec these days. And it was obviously needing this update.
Got it installed on Monday - can't say I've noticed anything though

My dealer just confirmed that he can't do this update on my car because it doesn't show up under my VIN.

Trying to contact Audi directly is an exercise in futility.

I'll wait a few weeks for the 40K service and see what happens then.

I went to winter tyre change today. Dealer found 93N6 has to be done on my 07/2019 etron. Left the car at 7am and picked it up at 12. Update and tyre change done.
In audi app there was no notification about this service update.
How exactly should we see the result of 93N6? Is there any range increase expected?

I asked this question but no one seemed to know - even the update itself was a bit of a mystery and turned up within days of booking the car in for something else and parts being delivered to resolve.

Can't remember if I pasted my "job card" info earlier however the final invoice shows:

A software update is required for the battery module control unit for cell voltage management balancing"

A few of the German forum threads seem to indicate maybe to do with charging curve? Could just be bad translation. Not noticed anything as of yet - I did think when I picked it up, it had a few more miles and I know it had not been plugged in but I think it might have been my mind playing tricks or getting the number of miles and the % left mixed up.

Exactly my observation. Milage is considerably higher in relation to % of battery full. I did not charge yet, but if it stays like that it would be really nice.
