I won't believe it until my next road trip (three weeks from now) but if this '19 etron has gone from 204 miles to 240 miles expected range in the last six months, that would be pretty impressive. It would make me take some of the bad software team stuff back that I have claimed about Audi.

But I'll believe it when I get the trip knocked out. DC to New Bern NC round trip.

I am seeing the same for the range after the update. We did a day trip last weekend of 140 miles. We started at around 95% SoC and arrived home with 42% SoC. We used 343 Wh per mile during that trip mostly doing interstate traffic at 68 miles per hour. Doing the math: 140 miles/(95%-42%)=264 miles. 264 miles of range would be pretty good for long trips.

We’ve been driving with the 93n6 update for a week. We’ve put about 200 miles on the car and we are still getting 250 at 100% SOC. I’m not seeing it fade at all. After a full week, efficiency seems about the same, but I do think I have 20-30 extra miles now. I hope it lasts.

I've been driving for a bit over a week, a little over 200 miles so far with 93N6. 80% SOC is still around 194 miles. What's more telling of the improvement is 39 miles driven today, mostly freeway at 70mph and 15% SOC was used. That's 260 miles of range at 100%.

One new possible bug was all of the buttons, paddles, and the horn on the steering wheel stopped working. After it sat for a few hours, it worked again.

That is an independent issue. Had this happen once before the update and others have reported it as well.

I've never run into this problem in 20k miles. It's good that it's not a new bug. I can live with all of the bugs I've run into so far, as long as Audi doesn't introduce new ones.

The cynic in me believes that if Audi had increased range again, there would have been a media release. I am still leaning towards the GOM being tricked by the update and it will settle out in a bit. (While holding my breath for my GOM 247 miles to hold out for this summers road trips!)

During the battery update the battery capacity, looks like, got reset, I read BMS every 6 month for the live data called "Net HV battery capacity" value. This was around 225Ah 6 month ago and after the update it was 240Ah, which is the full capacity (original capacity 95kWh= 396V*240Ah). I have not read this value again, but after around 400 miles, GOM is back to 234 miles (at 100%) vs. 256 miles (at 100%) after the update. I plan to read BMS again next week, will let you know what I find.

After a heavy day of driving my SOC and range are now normalizing. No range bump.

Bummer but not totally unexpected.

I'll miss my 80% SOC 200 GOM miles.

Sent h and you can see my non functioning etron route Nav data during navigation in this photo.
