tracking down a misfire
Car's decided to be bitchy again and over the weekend it's developed a pretty mean misfire. Car runs really rough even at idle, and only smooths out at maybe 3500 rpm's. Can't seem to get any power out of it so I'm running in a gear lower than I'd usually run. Sucks because I had to drive pretty far last night and gas is killer out here. I'm thinking POS, and if not that then plugs or coils. What would the symptoms be of a failing O2 sensor?
Anyways, I'll post again when I figure this out. Damn car.. I've already got parts on the way to fix a different problem and now this. I can't keep up. Grr.

Good read. Definitely a POS, Coil, or plug issue.
Don't forget to check the plugs. They are often overlooked when tracking down a misfire. Once you locate the offending hole, it's just a matter of swapping things around to isolate the problem.
Be glad that yours skips all the time; it's much harder to find a random misfire.
