My letter to the ACNA BoD
This election is tainted, plain and simple. My concerns and questions are in the link. I hope the BoD will discuss this at length, both this evening as well as this coming weekend and understand the multiple flaws and questions of conflict contained therein and decide the only outcome is to start the process over...

My complaint

Right on target.....
...and quite honestly, with the Chapter elections coming up I'm not 100% sure anymore if the club is still a good place to be, but since our (local) main interest is with our members and their objectives, we'll just have to deal with it.....and we just got started with the NJ chapter ;-)
Good to know that someone keeps an eye on those political games, as far as I'm concerned, August 15th was historically always the deadline to submit applications, why they changed it is beyond me.........

I had a ball at Thunderbolt!
Thomas,
Thanks for the kind words. What you guyes are doing down in NJ is great, and I look forward to joining you guys at another event, hopefully this winter where you can spend more time going slideways than straight!
In the meantime, I felt it impossible to compromise my principles and keep my mouth shut. Since no one at National was talking about how messed up this election is, someone had to do it...

Anytime :-)
Usually we would expect our leadership to set the standards higher as well as living by "business" ethics; but reading through some of the material and considering the consequences for every member - it surely isn't a pretty picture.....your efforts to keep everyone honest are very much appreciated, I'm just afraid that it wont be heard where by the right audience.
There are quite a few people throughout the club that have little or no response to their inquiries, questions or concerns.
And quite honestly, I really don't understand the political gain; our books are open, we are non-profit and we use a collective approach or team effort to deal with challenges to reach agreements of define by-laws.
Actually, it is quite similar to our last event and the discussion of the use of blinkers for passing; suggested, thoroughly tested, recommended, voted and agreed upon - now it's the "law"; always in the interest of our members!
