Default MBC install quick question: What kind of hose to install in parallel? Also:

Does 4mm ID silicone hose work?

Yesterday, I got my boost turned down from 20 psi peak to 15 psi peak.

The turbos now hold 10psi boost, down from 15.

My car now feels slow.

So, I'm going to go back to the original program once I get an MBC put in to clip the boost at around 17-18 psi, and hold it at around 15.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Do you think I would need any fueling tweaks by trimming the spike aroun 2-3psi?

Default That's what I thought. Just reading more about what Revo does, it appears that

the software makes quite a few adjustments for me. If I am too aggressive in certain adjustments, though, the software "pulls back" for me. This is more of a safety mechanism than anything else.

I just don't want the ecu to be requesting 22psi and only seeing 18psi and making "bad" adjustments.

The way I understand the material, if the ecu sees 18 psi, it's going to make the proper adjustments for 18 psi, even if it requests more than 18 psi.

Is that last part correct?

Default You need to come see me.....

....doctor is in the house.

The hose should be a little better than the typical vaccume line and have a heat rating. Otherwise you will find the hose becomes brittle. Also, with REVO you do not need to install in parallel like other chips. MBC only is the preferred methodology.....I can help you....email me and I will give you my number.
