Default Bad Wheel Bearing

I have about 1,200 miles on my 2010 Q5 and noticed a loud humming noise that got louder with speed. It sounded similar to a bad wheel bearing I had on my 2008 A4. I thought I was losing my mind, but the dealership checked it out and it was a bad wheel bearing. Very good service experience, they had the part in stock and it was done in a few hours. The service manager said that he has seen them go bad on the new A6 but never on a Q5. Has anyone ever heard of this or do I have really bad luck?
