Product improvement from Audi: IC guard
#11
Yea, the intercooler is at the bottom. It may be small, but it is quite fat (around 3" if I remember correctly). The radiator and condensor are both under 1" thick for comparison.
Is that an aftermarket condenser? The stock one that came off my car was black (aftermarket one that I got is silver with power steering cooler mounts on it - couldn't justify spending $380 for an OEM when the aftermarket cost me $50 including shipping)

Pretty much if you need to know anything about the front end or interior I probably know about it. I did some on the engine, but only the front of it, though still know the location of a lot of parts
I can tell you that a 2011 Q5 doesn't have a protective guard over the intercooler. This is how it looked right before the bumper went on. (intercooler is the part right below the crash bar)
On product improvement, Audi should have put white/yellow LED's as the DRL. White is regular, but when you signal, it changes between white and yellow (or flashes yellow with the white off). Would probably save them complexity in the headlights and as such make it a bit cheaper in materials. Plus it would look damn nice
