Default Agreed w/ you

Defining "where" exactly the tread really ends and the sidewall begins is another judgement call of up to several tenths of an inch too. Better to measure from ground up since tire delta's are barely rounding error here compared to what the supposed SQ5 drop in the U.S. was supposed to be from the early info.

Default Struts/shocks will/should vary if spring height changes

Often the compression/rebound rates change for starters, but that aside usually so does both the rod height and the tube. In simple terms, if you take an inch out of a spring, you take about half an inch out of both the piston/rod inner component and the outer tube. Otherwise it doesn't compress as much as it should/can. In practice things like bump stops and other things tend to get tweaked too, but the basic concept of sizing the length of shocks (Q5 rear) and struts (Q5 front) up and down as spring lengths go up and down still holds.
