Q5 e Trailer Hitch
#2
I have the factory one, but seen a lot of good feedback on the Stealth hitch. Their product info and install kit also seems well thought out. Almost wished I got one, but the “factory” one was included in the car I bought off the lot. I’m not totally sure they make one for your car - you’d need to check. They do make one for the plug in hybrid q5, if that’s what the Q5e is.

Here is a write-up of my Stealth Hitch install on my 2020 Q5e, but mine doesn't include the wiring (not supported on my year):

Got the Stealth hitch installed on my 2023 Q5e. Only issue is the receiver hitch is not level to the ground so my bike rack tilts a few degrees towards the car. Probably not a big deal but curious if anyone else experienced this? I don't think there is anyway to adjust the angle of the hitch.

It's hard to tell, using a level like you placed in yours, my bubble is between the two lines but just touching the outer most, so almost level. Placing the level on the concrete right below the hitch shows that the concrete (at that point) is just slightly more level with the bubble perfectly centered which would imply that there is just a slight tilt in the receiver.
But, the big problem is knowing if the car itself is level. I don't have any way to measure how flat and level the driveway is which could cause the car to not be level. Can't measure in the rear load floor, because I can see that's not flat and level (has a bit of a curve in it).
So really is hard to tell how angled it is or isn't with out a good reference point to work from.

I love the look of the stealth hitch but I emailed them and they said that nobody makes a trailer wiring kit for the phev.
Has anybody found a kit that works? I really want to be able to tow motorcycles with my Q5, something I did often with my Q3.
