Memorial Weekend - Local Hiking trail questions
We have plans to hike in Golden Gate Park this weekend. I know there are seveeral trails there. Anyone know of a good one? Possibly with some river/lake/ good sites? Or even other good hiking trails close to denver?

the Herman's Gulch trail up to Herman's lake is pretty close and the lake is nice.
It's about 2.5 miles each way. The trailhead is the exit right before the Loveland exit off of 70W. Not sure what the conditions are like right now.<ul><li><a href="http://www.coloradorunnermag.com/features/Issue19_HitTheDirt.html">Article about Herman's Gulch</a></li></ul>
