RS4 action shots in the wet
This is from Scandinavian Raceway in Sweden earlier this week.

Yes, there is a difference of about 25 lb-ft (10%) on the low end
You can definitely feel the difference in the low end pull of the engine. And ... yes, I did a before and after dyno. At the top end there are performance differences, but on the day I did my dyno, they were mitigated by intake butterfly valve not opening for unknown reasons, causing the intak to be air starved above 4500 rpm. I'm currently researching this.
But the answer to the question, do Milltek non-res catbacks and down pipes make more power? Yes! 10% more torque in an NA engine is a good gain. Looking at the difference between Kimbo's dyno plot with non-res catback only, it appears that the downpipe adds about 1/3 of the gain ... and it sounds fantastic.

Why would that be a surprise, given that the RS4 has better than average headers?
Flow restrictions are reduced with DPs over stock system.
I'll post some more data later today or tomorrow.

They've always advertised gains on the cat backs
But even then, they show two numbers for just the cat back. In one case they say power gains of 20 HP. In another they say 10.2hp @ 5900 rpm and 20.7nm @ 2610 rpm!
I suspect they too were getting stymied by the silly butterfly valve in the intake box, like I'm seeing. I think we'll see better gains once I have that sorted out.
