This is a positive feedback loop and those are bad. Negative feedback is used to stabilize control loops. Sorry, the engineer in me needed to comment here.

Fair enough. I guess I was all caught up in the negative effects of the positive feedback loop

Anyone with an A8 have any luck with these:

4.0TFSI RS7 CHRA Turbo Upgrade

I’m trying to make my 2017 A8L 4.0T go 200mph. With APR Stage I (545hp on 93AKI) I’m stuck at 188.8. First world problems. APR Downpipes will fit but APR stage II software is “in the works.” RS7 turbos will also fit but APR is only offering Stage III tuning for the S6, maybe also the S7, and that’s good for 634hp on 93 (different motor I know, but it’s close). I’d like to upgrade to S8 OEM cooling as well as a custom tune. My APR sweet talking skills are ineffective....just wondering if these turbos would be a good cost saving alternative to RS7 OEM turbos.

Has anyone had any luck updating their turbos, cooling and downpipes on their A8?
