Hello everybody,

Recently i started having some problems with my 2001 a6 2.7t.
Car runs , but i feel it lost some power and at full throttle it is louder then before too.

At like 2000rpm in 1,2. and 3rd gear it can take full throttle, it doesnt go higher then like 3,5k rpm and it shakes. If i stay on the gas eventually it will pass 3000 rpm but with alot struggle.

Same is in 4. and 5. gear but except shaking starts at like 3.000 rpm.

Does somebody know what happened? btw its an automatic and i chipped it 4 months ago with apr 93 octane. Had great power, but not anymore.

Have you checked your TBB ( Throttle Body Boot ) for cracks, tears around the clamp areas? It sounds like you have a boost leak. Unless you are getting a flashing CEL ( Yellow check engine light Flashes, meaning that you have a serious misfire problem. ) Check your ECU fr CEL error codes and if at all possible, use a Vag-Com / VCDS to read codes as many code readers miss many Audi specific codes.
