I do not think it was a mistake because the indicator is working well, but reversed, if the fuel sender out and move it up and down, move the pointer. And in the instrument cluster, a single wire coming from the sender, because the other one is ground. Thanks for the reply

which cluster do you have 1 or 2 originally and which one did you install ?
Here in North America early A4 came in 1996 and had cluster 1

My first cluster was cluster number 1 and now I have cluster number 2 and this custer have immo inside if it matters

Hi!
I´m new to this forums, but i have a quick question!
I have a -97 A4, with cluster number 1, but without the LCD and with 4 gauges...
Is it possible to swap it for a -98 cluster with 6 gauges and LCD?
