Aside from the obvious safety advantages of Quattro, I can attest to the structural rigidity of the a4. the day before my brother got his license, I asked him to take myself and my girlfriend for a ride in his 2002 1.8cvt. I know I'm going to catch flack for not telling my brother to slow down, but we spun off a narrow, winding road at 90+mph. We hit 4 trees and spun several times, and we all walked away. I'm convinced that this car saved our lives. The first tree impact was behind the right rear passenger door, and my girlfriend was in the right rear passenger seat. The impact from that first tree left a1.5' dent between the door and the rear wheel. The airbags deployed only where necessary, and saved my head from going through the front passenger window. If this isn't a testament to the engineering and construction of this car, I don't know what is. Ill save you the pain of the pictures...
