MMI Nightmare in Progress. Suggestions?

Re: they may not have updated the BT module properly when they did the MMI replacement.
During my 11 week repair, the dealer put in a new module, then a new phone module, then ran an update of some sort (a spark?). The update fried a module. Supposedly this happens about 20% of the time. Because of this, I suspect the dealer is concerned about running the update and may have skipped it.
The last I spoke with him, he was telling me that there were some updates for the phone systems in cars from 06 forward, but they did not pertain to 05's. Here's all I know, before my system died on October 19, everything worked perfectly. Now my phone system is so filled with issues that it is useless. The car goes back to the dealer tomorrow. He's replacing a borrowed module with a new part that finally arrived from Germany. While he's at it, he's going to try to figure out my phone issues. He's already mentioned that my phone might not be compatible, but it is the same phone that worked fine before.
