2018_SQ5

My SQ5 on ignition, both the VC screen and the dash screen, stay on whatever they were on the last time the vehicle was powered off.

Just took possession of a 2018 S5 Prestige, and my virtual cockpit always defaults to the vehicle info screen, even though I always manually select the nav/map screen. Frustrating.

Hi, did anyone find a fix for this issue?

My 2018 Audi A5 Quattro cockpit goes back to the car info screen on start up. I have a 2019 A4 loaner atm & it stays on the maps (or last used) which I really like.

I’ve also noticed the loaner A4 shows Spotify song / artists on the cockpit as well. My A5 shows songs as “unknown”.

Has anyone brought this up with their dealer?
Maybe it’s an MMI or cockpit update?

As has been written in other threads, buying an OBD Eleven will allow you to turn on or off permanently many factory features (like the Start/Stop) on Audi's and VW's. They recently came out with a iOS version as well as their original Android version.......depends which phone you use.

my 2017 a5 still goes back to vehicle summary, would be interested if you have found the solution to stay on the map display by default?
