Hi all,

I have been scouring the internet for any hints on the new prices and can't find anything. I'm about to pre order the new 2018 S6. Currently the dealer is offering me a price that is the same as the 2017 with a small mark up added. However I have to l9ck that in soon and I kinda want to wait a couple months before I do.

Bottom line has anyone heard anyth8ng or expect the price to be more than a few thousand higher with the updates they are making this year?

The 2018 is essentially the same as the 2017 except LED headlights and 20" wheels are now standard.

Hmm ok, thanks. I thought they were doing some upgrades on interior and I even read somewhere that it may be longer. But that's all from random websites. I did see the new A6 Avant and the interior does look different on that. Thank you for the reply.

As was said, the 2018 is the same car as the 2017 only some minor things that were optional on the 2017 will now be included as standard in the premium plus package on the 2018.

You can find the 2017 and 2018 order guides by doing a search for them on this forum or similar forums. Or use google which is probably easier. Then you can compare the specs across the years and you will see how similar they are.

Audi hasn't release the pricing for the 2018 yet, but usually what happens is that the price increases roughly equal to the cost of those options that are now included as standard. So for the 2018 S6 I expect to see an msrp increase of maybe 1,000-2,000 at most.

As you make your decision keep in mind that Audi is expected to reveal the 2019 in the fall of this year which will go on sale roughly one year from now. The 2019 will be a major redesign where we will likely see a new engine, new body style, and upgraded interior tech like the virtual cockpit.

Great, thank you. As much as I think it might be a good idea to wait I don't think I have the patience for another year. I have been putting away for that already haha. Thanks again for the info.

I was in the same spot last year and got a leftover 16 for a $13k off MSRP. It may not be exactly the configuration you would build yourself but the discount is significant. The C7 may be the last S6 with a V8 (if rumors will turn out to be true) so there's that consider too. Go get a '17 today and enjoy it!

Well....im in a unique position. I am over in Europe so my US spec options are very limited. I looked for one for a while and I havnt seen one come up. The other unique thing is I don't pay any tax so a fully loaded prestige S6 with BO, optic black, sport package....everything is about 80k out the door for me so kinda inbetween a rock and a hard place. I would scoop up a 17 with like 10k miles in a heart beat just to avoid depreciation but that's tough to do
