Visiting Sedona, AZ - Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!
Hello!!
I'll be heading over to Phoenix in April with my bf (also on audiworld) and we're looking for things to do in Sedona. We're definitely going to do some mountain biking and hiking, any suggestions on where to rent bikes or particular trails we have to hit up?
Any suggestions on what to see? Any favorite motels/ins we should look into staying at, but nothing too pricey.
I really appreciate all the help!! Looking forward to visit arizona.

Nice scenery, best views playing golf.
People walk and down the main 'drag' at night.
Personally One day/night was enough for me...but I'm not into the arts/crafts thing.
I took an help ride over the Grand Canyon that was way cool..if like I you've never been in a helo.

Prepare for lines (car lines) -- but maybe not this time of year.
I have not been to the 'edge' since I was 8...so don't remember it too well. Just remember my Mo masking if they lit it up at night!!
We did take a mule ride to the bottom. Again, don't remember too well except my parents complaining how ***-numbing it was.
If you've got money to burn (500 or so) take the helicopter (airport is before the park entrance so you have no lines) and do the smooth water rafting tour. My helo pilot recommended it and I've been wanting to do it ever since.
Oh. and in Sedona go to dinner early or late...all the good looking places were full when we tried to go.

It's much cheaper to stay in Flagstaff (20min north of Sedona)....
Then the drive down Oak creek Canyon to Sedona is beautiful. I'd also suggest getting to Jerome (30-40min south of Sedona) a funky hippy/art town built on a very steep hill. Good place for lunch & nice views looking back at the Red Rocks.
