I got a ticket couple of days ago. Anything I should be worried about? Demerit points?

No, for two reasons
a) the 08 refers to his plate sticker year, not model year
b) only material errors will get you off. For example, I beat a ticket because my car was described as a black BMW, in both the ticket and the officer's notes. However, the plate he recorded was mine, on my Audi, and had always been registered there. That took a bit of finesse to set him up for the fall, because I would not have been able to just go in and say "he made a mistake, throw it out". If they have potentially identified the wrong vehicle, it's easier, but if they get your address wrong or something like that, the judge will allow them to edit the ticket on the spot and continue with the proceedings.
