Nice job. In my signature there is a link to a library with all of the TSBs that were issued on the C6 model. Take a look and see what Audi has to say about addressing many of the known issues on the C6.

Great Thread! Excellent DYI ....

I have a question for anyone here... I went over the procedure to remove replace thermostat and want to do mine. I noticed that my 2010 A5 3.2 FSI has a pipe that is over top of the thermostat yet under the plenum which from what I see will prevent me from removing the Thermostat (which I desperately need replace - has a cracked housing) Would anyone have information on this pipe? how to deal with it ?

I'll give the answer because I have not seen any responses. The Pipe is the Secondary Air Injection system. I was able to finish the coolant leak fix.. (Thermostat and crankcase breather leaking in valley) by simply stretching the pipe once the fuel lines were removed. This Pipe was not scene on other versions of the V6 FSI ... however the latest final year of it ...(mine LOL!) had it . I was quite relieved to have only spent under 400.$ in parts to fix it DIY> It would have cost under 100.$ If I didn't break the the breather intake pipe! which cost 290.$ and is a dealer only part.
